Whitmore, Chief Engineer Dear Mr. Whitmore: Unfortunately your letter arrived about the time that I left for Europe and following my return have just gotten to some of the correspondence that has built up. We are enclosing a brochure covering various Tiebar Presses we have produced in the past, and probably some of the information contained will be of interest to you. It is, of course, impossible to give you any price information on presses until we know more precisely what you want to accomplish. While the basics of the presses are the same, the size, pressures, and auxiliary requirements can have a substantial effect on price levels. All the technical requirements are analyzed by Dr. Hall, who works as a Consultant for us. We do the manufacturing and testing at this location, but the high technology is referred to him. Of course you are aware of the great accomplishments and the experience of Dr. Hall, and we regard him as the foremost authority in the world in this regard. The whereabouts of Mr. Zeitlin are unknown to us and we do not know the status of Barogenics at this time. The attached brochure of course may be of interest to you, and when you have had an opportunity to define more specifically your requirements, we would be most happy to work with you. Very truly yours, MC CARTNEY MANUFACTURING CO., INC. OMW/k 0. M. Walstad, President CC: Dr. Tracy Hall John Roberts/George Taylor-MMCo Enclosur e-Br ochur e
